Why does everything have to be so damn complicated?

This is new! I actually decided to shift to wordpress, not that I was having any problem with blogger, it's just that my Google AdSense application got rejected. Turns out that I've used some unfair means to make my blog popular, well it's not exactly popular, who am I kidding, I just have 800 odd views on my blog and one more thing I just discovered that I have to blog about a particular topic and not just pick some random topic. It's just a pain in the ass. It took me a long time to figure out the name for my blog and now I am not going to change it, it's just too exhausting. But why am I bothering you with this non-sense, I don't know what I am talking about sometimes.

If the people from the LAW DEPARTMENT are reading, specifically the people I am referring to, I am not blaming you completely for the cancellation of the sports meet, it's our fault too and it's my serious request to please cooperate and let this sports meet be. We have put a lot of work in bringing this all together and everyone is very excited for this.

Well the BIG, disappointing, news is that the sports meet was cancelled. I was pumped up about this time, as a matter of fact everyone was, after all it is the week after exams, it is the ideal time to do any kind of event. It has been a month since many, actually any, of the hostlers have been home, just to be a part of this rare sports meet, that has only been conducted once in this college, and the reason for the cancellation is totally absurd. It's just because 10 guys don't have the time to play, so they want to postpone it to next week and that is not acceptable by the organising team, because next week they, it's more like we won't have the time to play. So it's a deadlock situation. To say it in other words 'We're Screwed'

There is more to this than just some 10 guys trying to postpone the sports meet, it's about the rivalry between the LAW DEPARTMENT and the IT DEPARTMENT, it's about the ego, it's about the IT DEPARTMENT can do a better and classier job that that LAW DEPARTMENT and frankly speaking, WE CAN and we've done it before too. But we had to compromise this one time to let this sports meet happen but the law people are just too arrogant, not all of them but I'm just specifically pointing to those 10 douche bags who won't let anything happen just because they don't have time to play. We as the, obviously, logical people presented solutions to them but it was obviously of no use. It's high time they realised that they don't stand a chance against our skills, they might overpower us physically but when it comes to technicality and logical thinking they are like turtles in a rabbit's race and not to forget mentioning that this is GURDASPUR, where it is difficult to put something logical through their thick skulls because they think it will belittle them in front of their friend if they just listen to other's point of view, leave alone agreeing to them. Once again I am not addressing everyone, I am just pointing to those 10 people.

Now they also had a point, our organising team didn't ask them before organising and they obviously were pissed about that and they should be. If you aren't asked to participate in an open tournament, that too twice in a row, it'll obviously piss anyone off. Just as they say, you can't clap with one hand, if they are at fault, we are too. We made a mistake, but it wasn't something to be made such a big fuss over.

If they wanted to play, we both could've compromised to reach to a peaceful solution, but they weren't ready for any kind of suggestions we put up. So the best way to end this problem was to end this sports meet and this was the final decision after all the discussion.

We could've stood up to these guys and made this sports meet happen only if we had some support from our teachers and most importantly our DEAN, but 'Us bande ke bhi kya kehne'. Seriously, this guy will lie to your face and then challenge you to prove that he lied, and we don't have any words to say against them because we respect him as the Dean of this 'prestigious' Institution(Sarcasm). Sounds LAME, doesn't it? And you know what's more lamer than this, that because of just 10 people we had to cancel the sports meet which everyone was excited about and the worst part, it could've been easily preventable if just our so called Dean had stayed by our side. He changes his statements like anything and that too on the face of the person. He has got to have some integrity. It's literally worthless to talk about him but still he is the DEAN of the Institution and we have to respect him to get his permissions for whatever we organise. Our condition is literally pathetic because we aren't getting any support from our college authorities, the only ones we expect to show support amidst this problem and the worst part is that they are against every decision we make. Our college society wrote an Open Letter expressing their anger and disappointment.

I really don't have anything to end this post with, but one thing, if the people from the law department are reading, I know I said some pretty bad things, specifically the people I am referring to,you people might be hunting for my head right now, but PLEASE READ THIS, I am not blaming you completely for the cancellation of the sports meet, it's our fault too and it's my serious request to please cooperate and let this sports meet be, I know it's a request on deaf ears but I sincerely wanted this sports meet to happen. And as for Dean Sir I would just ask him to please just stand by what he says and not change his decision every time someone asks him to do so, just because they have some problem and not wash his hands off every problem that comes his way and just handle it, you are the Dean of the Institution, you are definitely in some position to do something about anything, so I kindly suggest that you please take this into consideration.
